SALVATION As a great building rest upon the structure of its foundation, so a church or the Christian life of an individual must be established upon a firm foundation. Jesus Christ is the Foundation, (I Cor. 3:11). Upon this Foundation one must build a structure based upon solid Bible truth. Let us begin our study with reviewing what happened to us when we trusted Christ as our Saviour and Lord.

Will Ye Also Go Away?

There are many people today who claim to be followers of God and Jesus Christ, His Son. However, there is a distinctive character that separates the true follower from the false or superficial professor of Christ. Just as it was during the time when Jesus walked upon this earth in the body of his flesh, so it is today. There are those who remain and those who fall away. PEACE IN THESE TROUBLED TIMES

We cannot pick up a newspaper, turn on the radio or television for any length of time and evade the word “peace.” There seems to he trouble of some kind raging on every hand, and everyone is in search of peace. We usually hear the word used in reference to world or national peace, but we are convinced that we, as individuals, are constantly in search of a personal peace.

If we were asked what we wanted from life, most of us would answer, happiness. The difference in individuals would determine the things considered important to bring this happiness about. WHAT CAN I DO WHEN I’M AFRAID We all have experienced being afraid at times. Some people are afraid to ride elevators, others are afraid to drive a car because they might have a wreck, others are afraid they are going to die, of which all must face death, whether we are prepared to face death or not.
